As automotive enthusiasts wait eagerly for the Paris motor show next month, Fiat is already releasing photos of its Fiorino Qubo. Called a "free space" vehicle, the small multi-purpose vehicle can fit five people and is aimed at young city dwellers that are short on cash and shorter on space.
The Fiorino Qubo has a streamlined, but stunted, style that is surprisingly roomy. The amount of storage space if traveling with more than two people could cause a problem though.
The French car will be priced at the equivalent of $18,200. It will be offered with either a 75 hp multijet diesel engine or a 73 hp petrol engine; and it will have either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. With the multijet engine, the Fiorino Qubo will be able to cruise more than 600 miles on a tank of diesel.
The Fiorino Qubo will be launched later this month, after which it will go on sale across Europe.
