Hummer may or may not be for sale, but two separate parties have contacted GM with interest in purchasing the brand. It's not terribly surprising both parties are from the Middle East. General Motors publicly announced that it is in the process of preparing sales documents for the brand, but GM also thinks keeping Hummer could be a viable option. So what's going on?
This is shaping up to be as dramatic as the sales of Aston Martin, Jaguar, and Land Rover were for Ford. It isn't clear who wants to buy Hummer, or how serious GM is about selling the brand at this point. All we know is there have been several interested parties and lots of bad information surrounding the possible sale. We'll let you know what is really going on once we hear anything official.
