If you missed out on the chance to rent one of the 500 Ford Shelby Mustang GT-H Convertibles on offer from Hertz dealers, all hope isn’t lost. Twenty five of these rental racers will be up for grabs at the Concorso Italiano at Monterey Bay later this month.
Collectors will likely grab these 25 cars up with little regard for the potentially brutal miles each racked up as a rental car. The original Ford/Shelby/Hertz rental cars have become quite collectible and it’s a reasonable to think these new Shelby rental cars will also appreciate in value after a few decades.
