We've yet to receive confirmation, but we're hearing rumblings that a production Saab 9-3X wagon may make its way to the 2008 Paris motor show this October.

Like the 9-3X concept shown at the 2002 Detroit auto show (pictured), the production car will be a 'soft-road' version of the 9-3 SportCombi - albeit sporting all five doors.  Like Volvo's XC60, the 9-3X will sport all-wheel-drive, more ground clearance, and large bumpers.

Although it won't be a true SUV, the 9-3X is intended to fit between the 9-3 SportCombi wagon and the upcoming 9-4X crossover, expected to ride on GM's next-generation Theta platform.
