As he puts it, it "involves chopping several inches out of the wheelbase of my urq and blasting through the woods doing wheelies at 100 mph."
By "urq," he means "UrQuattro," as in, the original Audi Quattro coupe. And by "blasting through the woods," he means, "hauling ass on a closed special stage rally in a short-wheelbase Audi."
Our kind of dude. He had me at hello. Or the endless embedded YouTube videos of DTM cars or Walter Rohrl or rallying. Or, you know, at the picture of his garage, which includes the three cars you see here. (The holy trinity of attainable, semi-vintage European hotness, if you ask me.) The author, who doesn't appear to list his name, runs a Blogspot blog called "In The Garage," and he has impeccable taste. I stumbled onto it this morning while Googling early Audis. It's not deep or elaborate, but it's cool as all getout nonetheless. Enjoy.
