Quintessential Volvo wagon, 2008 edition 1

Volvo station wagons have long been associated with college professors, falafel, and indie rock, and over the years, we've seen many a Volvo decorated with left-leaning bumper stickers. But this V70, spotted at a local Park 'n' Ride carpool lot, is one of the most highly decorated we've seen.

The V70 even came complete with a ski rack on top, Ikea bags in the trunk, and a couple empty boxes of wine in the back seat. Of course we had to park our much sportier Four Seasons Volvo C30 next to it for these photos ...
