A Beached Impala

We see a lot of odd things on the short walk from the parking structure to the office in the morning.

Sometimes we don't even have to leave the structure, as was the case yesterday. I spotted something slightly amiss when descending the stairs and decided to investigate.

It looks as though all parking spaces were full at the post office across the street, and someone decided to park this government-owned Impala on a pile of mulch. I'll give them a point for ingenuity, and a few more for having the guts to try such a parking maneuver.
