Shrinking SUV

I'll take mine with a wagon.

Being a guy who prefers smaller cars, I was intrigued by the new VW Tiguan. I love the utility of hatchbacks and wagons and was hoping that this mini SUV would offer something extra over a Rabbit or a Jetta wagon. I was surprise to see how limited the cargo space was, and the overall interior space was only a touch better. One feature I did appreciate, however, was the abundance of storage pockets and assorted little cubbies to hold my ever-growing collection of electronics. Cellphones, iPods, chargers, toll tickets, beverages, or whatever you need with you during your drive—the Tiguan offers plenty of spots to stow them away.  That's just not enough to make me want to buy one.
