The green flag for the Nurburgring 24 is only about 5 hours away and there are some unique entries. Not surprising when there are over 200 cars on the starting grid.

Yes, there's a Lexus LF-A, 3 factory VW Scirocco entries, and a load of Aston Martins but digging into the starting grid, there are a few random, crazy entries.

-Audi V8 sedan complete with automatic transmission
-Mini Cooper -the original
-Subaru WRX STI
-Fiat 500 -new model
-Opel Astra delivery van

It should be an interesting and exciting race.

A Porsche 911 GT3 RSR is on the pole with factory Porsche drivers. There is also a Dodge Viper GTSR up near the top as well as a factory-built BMW Z4 M-Coupe.

There is also a large group of noteworthy drivers including: Boris Said, Hans Stuck, Carlos Sainz, Tomas Enge, and even Dr Ulrich Bez, the CEO of Aston Martin.
