Read Amy Skogstrom's comments on driving the 2008 Saturn Vue Green Line.

The Vue is a nice-looking vehicle, and in the sea mist green color of this example it looks particularly nice. The proportions of the Vue seem just right for a small to medium-size SUV. Inside, there's plenty of room in both the front and rear seats, and the cargo space behind the second row seems quite adequate for a vehicle in this class. I'm a fan of the control layout in this vehicle - there aren't too many knobs and buttons, and those that are there are easy to decipher. It's a shame that the vehicle is let down by some interior quality issues. The gearshift lever and center console plastic look and feel downscale, as does the material on the "upholstered" sun shade. However, getting 25-plus mpg in an SUV is a positive - unfortunately, the engine in the Green Line feels sluggish, especially mated to this four-speed transmission. I understand there's a V-6 Green Line coming out later this year; I'll be interested in seeing how it performs compared with this vehicle.
