Like Jean, I'm not a fan of the shifter -- can't get used to pushing the stick FORWARD to get reverse, and even then, it doesn't always go into reverse when I push it forward, sometimes it ends up in neutral.
After how many years? I'm finally getting used to iDrive, at least for the "Entertainment" portion of the dial. This car could, however, use a better stereo system. It simply pales in comparison to the Levinson sound system available in Lexuses.
As always, driving the 5-series is a pleasure. Even in the wet on the way in today, the car feels extremely sure-footed and competent.
