This Lexus isn't for me, but I can see why people buy them. There are no surprises with this car-like SUV. Power, handling, and ride are all Lexus-smooth. That smoothness removes any feeling from the driving experience, however. The car is nice enough, but lacks any real character. That said, this crossover needs an update. It's been around since 2004 and the dated interior shows it. We should see a replacement soon, as its Highlander platform-mate was just redesigned.
