All you weekend racers tired of running neck to neck with every other E63 at Mercedes-Benz AMG events, worry no more. A new performance package-available beginning in March-doesn't bring added power, but it does buy you a few other desirable changes. A set of multi-piece, eighteen-inch, five-spoke wheels differentiate the package visually, as does an alcantara steering wheel. Mechanical changes include Airmatic suspension with firmer tuning and a new, forty-percent locking rear differential. Since the CLS63 uses the E platform, the same package will be available (although with nineteen-inch wheels) and Mercedes-Benz says that both packages target buyers who crave track time. And they better really crave it-the changes will add just over $9000 to the window sticker.
