From the looks of the rear corner shown here, Jaguar's next kitten should make our hearts purr.
The teaser image shown here is all we've seen of Jaguar's upcoming Detroit concept sedan, and it came with no actual information. But Ford's British media site has some answers. The car seen here is a new sports sedan called the XF, and a production version will be shown next fall, at which time it will replace the S-type in the line-up. Since they'll announced changes for the 2008 S-type in America, we're guessing we'll see the car in early 2008 as an '09 model.
British Jaguar managing director Bibiana Boerio says the car will "challenge people to think again about Jaguar as daring and different," and that "if you like the new XK, just wait until you see the new Jaguar XF." Your wait will end in January. Check back then for more pictures and information.
