For the logbook, my comments about our Four-Season Infiniti M45.

I took the Infiniti M45 down to Hershey, Pennsylvania for the fall AACA car show and swap meet. The M proved to be an exceedingly comfortable car over the nearly-1000-mile round trip. It’s also downright fast, as the transmission’s eager downshifts make this car even more responsive than the V-8’s 335-hp figure would suggest.

The interior is very nicely finished and Infiniti’s control layout for the navigation, HVAC, and audio system is the easiest and most logical in this class. I suspected we’d given this car short shrift in our initial evaluation of it and that’s why I thought a longer examination was in order. Turns out I was right. Compared to its German rivals, the M45 is definitely underrated.
